Our Services & Fees
Unlike some law firms, our below fixed fees are inclusive of GST & all anticipated disbursements.
We have made a conscious decision that our role as your lawyer is to make things as easy to understand as possible. That should include how we charge for our most frequently used services. See below our fixed fees for our common legal services, or contact us for an obligations free fee estimate.
If you're looking for details of our First Home Buyers Special, please email Queenstown@cplaw.co.nz
Please find the list of current fees below, effective 1 February 2022.
*It is possible that due to a complex property or transaction there will be additional disbursements or fees. In these circumstances we will let you know before incurring additional costs. If we think your file is not going to be covered by schedule fees we will inform you from the outset, and where possible provide a new fee estimate.
Property
We offer comprehensive property services for both residential and commercial conveyancing. If you are buying a property, or selling a property speak with us first to ensure you are fully informed of the process.
Wills & Estates
Every person should have a valid Will and Enduring Powers of Attorney in place; regardless of age or health. We can help you with both.
If a recent family loss has occurred, and you are in need of assistance for estate administration please contact us.
Commercial
Queenstown is a town of entrepreneurs, hustlers and those who have created successful businesses all of their own. If you are in need of commercial structuring, advice regarding asset protection or just proactive legal support to work alongside you and your other professional advisers, please get in touch.
Relationships
New Zealand Relationship Property Law is an ever changing landscape. If you are about to own assets and you are in a committed relationship, you should consider discussing with a professional what this means for your wealth. We can assist with a contracting out agreement (similar to a 'pre nup', but you don't need to get married!), or in the case of a relationship breakdown, a separation agreement. We can also assist with independent legal advice on either of these matters.
Trust
If you are currently running your own business, have significant creditor risk or perhaps have some complex estate planning needs, a Family Trust may be a good solution for you.
Our team are experienced in making Family Trusts bespoke to your needs, and can lead you through the process with confidence.
